Updated REPLACE_DATE
Surfacely helps businesses find questions, leads and feedback in their Instagram comments. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. Questions: REPLACE_EMAIL.
What we collect
- Your account email, when you sign up.
- Your Instagram username and ID, when you connect your account.
- Posts on your connected account, and the comments on them: comment text, commenter usernames and timestamps.
- An access token that lets us read that data on your behalf. We store it on our servers and never show it in your browser.
What we use it for
We read your comments only to classify them (for example, buying intent, questions, complaints) and show you the results. We do not post, reply, delete or message anything on your account, and we do not sell your data.
Who processes it
We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and an AI model provider (REPLACE_PROVIDER) to analyse comment text. Comment text is sent to that provider only to produce your results.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is connected. When you disconnect Instagram or delete your account, we delete your token, posts, comments and results.
Your choices
You can disconnect Instagram at any time in the app, or revoke Surfacely in Instagram under Settings, Apps and websites. To have your data deleted, see how to delete your data.
